Nivea has always been a favourite personal care brand with emphasis on skin and how skin impacts your appearance and accompanying health. Nivea has continued to find ways to strengthen its association with consumers building partnerships with sports, concepts: like the Real Madrid tie-up in Kenya for Nivea Men under the #UpyourGame theme or the #WearYourSkinWithPride campaign.
THE CHALLENGE
The client approached Reward Port with a brief to create awareness and high reach for its range of products – lotions, sprays and roll-ons in a fashion market of Kenya.
THE SOLUTION
The RewardPort team picked consumer signals from Social media and realized consumers love for sports, esp soccer was standing out clearly. Building footwear as an important part of the campaign, whether for play, work or party was adopted as the strategy. We joined hands with Bata and created a campaign allowing Nivea consumers to get shoe vouchers on purchase of Nivea products.

With a high perceived value and an attractive proposition from the world’s no.1 skin care brand, the campaign was an overnight success.
